CHEE celebrates six at outstanding student ceremony

Engineering faculty ended the semester on a high note, nominating 16 undergraduate seniors, 13 graduate seniors and 10 teaching assistants for awards that recognized their efforts to go above and beyond in their studies and research. From the Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering, six graduating students and teaching assistants were celebrated.
For chemical engineering, the outstanding senior was Callie Carrejo, the outstanding graduate student was Cameron Malloy and the outstanding teaching assistant was Matthew Dailey.
For environmental engineering, the outstanding senior was Elizabeth Wilson, the outstanding graduate student was Zaid Daher and the outstanding teaching assistant was Sepideh Shirani.
Each student who was honored received a framed award and a university gift bag to commemorate their academic career. Nominating professors made short speeches.
